Missing a week.

I'm not going to be too hard on myself here, but I have obviously missed a week.

Things have been a little rough for me - but I think that I'm looking up. Any day, my new lens should arrive - and I'll get back in the swing of things.

Can't believe that we'll have a new one in 6 weeks.

On this lovely last day of 2008, we finally sold our house in Elgin. We are now the proud owners of ONE (say it with relief) house.

And so we went out to dinner.

We are not vegetarian.

And a bonus? Sure...
I am carrying a torpedo. Or a very large egg. Feeling pretty uncomfortable these days.

I'm a little behind, but here goes.

Amazing fact: we found a local restaurant.  Who cares if it's not actually in our town?
(note that the name of said restaurant fits in with the theme of my title for this entry. I'm so punny)

For some reason, I always thought that my kids would only use the slide to go down. Nope. Turns out that the desire to climb up a slide? Universal.

Winter tree. Lack of inspiration... can you tell? Winter is depressing when it never gets cold enough.
